Living The "Dream"

Hey,

So for about three weeks now I have been either riding with some of my other teammates everywhere or taking a motodope (moped taxi). Well that all changed three days ago when my supervisor found me a 2003, 125cc Honda "Dream"! It is quite the sweet ride, despite the fact that I look like the Jolly Green Giant riding around on a kids bike. (I don't know if you've noticed but I am slightly larger than the average person here and the avg. vehicle as well). I love this thing. My supervisor taught me how to shift etc. and then after a few trips up and down the street and around his neighborhood I was off and in the thick of traffic. It was crazy! There are traffic laws here, but there aren't. If you get my drift...
Today I decided to take my moto out for a spin around the city to get a better understanding of the roads and also to take some pictures. It was really fun and I found my way around okay. On the way back though, all the sudden I felt the front wheel start to wobble and I knew something wasn't right with the old Dream! I pulled over and a very excited man came over and began pointing at my tire and raising his eyebrows. Okay, gotcha, I have a flat. What to do now? (Just so you know, there are no Jiffy Lube's or Firestone places just sitting around here!) But luckily the guy pointed just up the road and there was a lady who could fix my tire in about 15 minutes for about $3! So I wobbled over and got it fixed, as her and her friends laughed at how funny it was and how this big ole boy probably forced the air out of the tire simply by sitting on it! Anyway, here are some pictures.

Epic. I don't think I get to do anything quite like that.
